Our TeraScan Software Training is a hands-on, instructor-led program. The following TeraScan Software Training courses are currently available at SeaSpace.
TeraScan System Operations Training Program (5 days):
TeraScan system hardware and software overview
Satellite, sensor, and telemetry overview, as applicable to your system
TeraVision and other GUIs (as applicable) for viewing and manipulating processed satellite images
TeraMaster GUI for defining an area of interest for your images
Basic TeraScan functions for processing HRPT, MODIS and other sensor data (includes ingesting, calibrating, navigating, synthesizing new variables, remapping, creating overlays, producing JPEG/GIF/TIFF pictures from data, etc.)
Basic scripting to set up your own programs
Daily operating procedures of the TeraScan system, including TeraCapCon and TeraTrackeye for pass scheduling and capture (as applicable to your system); updating orbital elements; retrieving and installing software patches; archiving data; TeraScan Log Viewer for diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with data capture
GUIs for configuring your TeraScan system
Operational/Forecasting Training Program (3 days):
TeraScan system hardware and software overview
Satellite, sensor, and telemetry overview, as applicable to your system
TeraVision GUI for viewing and manipulating processed satellite images
TeraMaster GUI for defining an area of interest for your images
Use of satellite channels in weather forecasting
TeraPGS GUI for generating and distributing data products; overview of data processing with TeraPGS
Daily operating procedures of the TeraScan system, including TeraCapCon and TeraTrackeye for pass scheduling and capture (as applicable to your system); updating orbital elements; retrieving and installing software patches; archiving data; TeraScan Log Viewer for diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with data capture
GUIs for configuring your TeraScan system
Operational Program (1/2 day each) / 2 Sessions:
Processing of up to 2 additional telemetries (DMSP, SeaWiFS, GMS, METEOSAT, etc.)
Working with SeaSpace scientific consultants for special functions, telemetry, or data formats, and/or interpretation and analysis (may be charged at higher rate).
