The 18th International SeaSpace Remote Sensing Conference was held Oct 5-7, 2008 at the Doubletree Golf Resort San Diego, in San Diego, CA USA. Fifty people attended from industry, government, and university to hear presentations regarding direct read-out and remote sensing. Along with the technical sessions, attendees had a chance to participate in the First Annual SeaSpace Golf "Pro-Am".
The Annual Remote Sensing Conference is a forum for the SeaSpace user community to engage in scientific exchange and an opportunity to learn about the latest in remote sensing ranging from future satellite instruments to in-depth scientific presentations on atmospheric, land and ocean remote sensing applications from scientists around the world.
