October9, 2001...SeaSpace Corporation announces a contract award for their TeraScan® SX-EOS Direct Broadcast Ground Station, from the WUHAN UNIVERSITY in Wuhan, China. Thisale is the second MODIS Direct Broadcast system contract with the Peoples Republic of Chinain the past eight months.

August 26, 2001...MODIS image, acquired and processed at SeaSpace Corporation with TeraScan®, captures smoke plumes from Northern California fires.

August 2001...Oceansat-1 OCM image showing chlorophyll distribution and circulation features in the Gulf of California.

August 2001...Oceansat-1 OCM picks up some fine variations in color (due to turbidity/chlorophyll) in the Great Salt Lake, Utah, USA.

July 2001...Oceansat-1 OCM image of phytoplankton blooms in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Canada.

July 2001...Oceansat-1 OCM image of the ongoing red-tide outbreak in the coastal waters off Southern California. This red-tide was caused by a non-toxic dinoflagellate.

July 2001...SeaSpace, in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin and Louisiana State University, is supporting the LEO-15 field experiment of the Institute of Marine and Coastal Sciences, Rutgers University, by providing real-time MODIS and OCM satellite data products.

July 2001...In a Cooperative agreement with SeaSpace Corporation and the Indian Space Agency, SeaSpace will be acquiring real-time data from the Ocean Color Monitor (OCM) sensor aboard the Ocean SAT-1 space craft.
